In the second set of Élite short stories, the romance between Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau) and Nadia (Mina El Hammani) is further explored as she starts university in America.

Omar (Omar Ayuso) speaks to Nadia about coming back to Spain for their sister’s wedding, but she is hesitant to return home shortly after adjusting to her new life. After reluctantly agreeing to come, Nadia asks Guzmán that they don’t see each other so she doesn’t miss him more.

Nadia and Guzmán have always had an odd relationship, and Bernardeau and El Hammani do well in keeping both the fiery and icy passion between them alive. Guzmán’s character development since season one has had the strongest arc, but it’s great to see there’s still a bit of his intensity inside.

Final say: Growth in love. ★★★★☆
