A spitfire of an actress and personality on stage and screen, Kristin Chenoweth’s personality comes to life in her memoir A Little Bit Wicked.

Reflecting on her rise to stardom, it’s fun to hear of Chenoweth’s roots and how she found early success – by winning a Tony for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown – while also hitting several lows – she jokes often about her brief television series Kristin.

She speaks about her many loves, including her on-again, off-again relationship with Aaron Sorkin, which many may not know about.

Chenoweth’s voice flows throughout the story and it’s easy to picture her while reading. When she freaks out about things or rambles about how excited she was, you can see her in those moments. And that’s what’s best about Chenoweth, she never apologizes for who she is.

Final say: Wickedly lovable. ★★★★☆
