While the third season of Élite isn’t as thrilling as the first two, it’s still better than most of the shows on television and packs a killer ending.
As the students enter their last semester at Las Encinas, Nadia (Mina El Hammani) and Lu (Danna Paola) compete for a scholarship to Columbia. In the flash-forward, the students are interviewed about Polo’s (Álvaro Rico) death.
Despite all the drama that comes with the show, this takes a good look at students finishing the first part of their education. There’s some camaraderie that forms as they all get close to graduating and none is better than the development of Nadia and Lu’s competitive friendship.
The final episode’s reveals are great and allow for future seasons to continue with some characters while giving others a sentimental farewell.
Final say: Justice is served. ★★★★☆
