With charm and spunk, Kristen Bell is thrilling to watch as teenage sleuth in this series that is engaging not just in the episodic stories, but the season as a whole.

High school student Veronica Mars (Bell) works for her private investigator father Keith (Enrico Colantoni) and often helps students at her school solve mysteries in their life. She is focused on finding out who truly killed her best friend Lilly Kane (Amanda Seyfried).

The action in season one is great, and it leads up to a shocking finale that will have you on the edge of your seat.

But what’s compelling about this teen drama is that the characters are engaging and develop over the course of the season, especially angsty bad boy Logan (Jason Dohring).

Final say: It’s not a mystery that you’ll be addicted to this. ★★★★☆
