At the spelling bee, young contestants reflect on themselves and find hope and uncertainty in their lives. Most feel the pressure to win and hope to beat out the competition.

The show benefits from the rare use of audience participation where several members are selected to complete the roster of competitors in the spelling bee. It breaks the fourth wall and makes you feel part of the show whether you’re onstage or not.

The six spellers are all distinct characters whom you’ll immediately come to love and will feel their disappointment as they’re eliminated.
