A show that was ahead of its time and seems more suitable for the Zoom universe that we now live in, Web Therapy’s quirkiness may not be for all audiences but features another stellar performance from star Lisa Kudrow.
Recently having left the corporate world, Fiona Wallice (Kudrow) starts a new venture of three-minute web therapy sessions. Her marriage with her husband Kip (Victor Garber) is on the rocks and her former employer Robert Lachman (Steven Weber) is in a crisis, but Fiona’s various clients help elevate her brand.
Kudrow’s Fiona is more troubled than most of her clients and somehow becomes the best and worst part of the show. She’s self-serving and belittles those around her. While Kudrow is great to watch, her character somewhat alienates viewers.
Final say: Improvisational skills save the show. ★★★☆☆
