The Trolls gang is back in their second feature film that improves upon the first and shares a much-needed message in 2020 about the importance of diversity.
Hard Rock Trolls’ Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom) is out on a quest for rock domination by stealing he musical chords of different trolls and uniting them to make everyone a Hard Rock Troll. Queen Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) work together to unite everyone.
Kids will love the bright colors and fun characters, and everyone will be singing along, but the adults will be surprised by the deep messages that prove differences are what make you special.
Kendrick and Timberlake continue great voice work and Bloom is a welcome villainous addition as she takes on some vocally challenging music.
Final say: It’s time to celebrate. ★★★★☆
