Continuing the theme of girl power that was at the heart of the original film, The Cheetah Girls 2 takes everything to the next-level with stronger songs and beautiful on-location filming in Barcelona.

Chanel (Adrienne Bailon) has to travel to Spain over the summer with her soon-to-be-engaged mom (Lori Alter). Desperate to not spend the summer apart, the Cheetah Girls audition and get into a new voices competition.

It’s hard to argue the fact that “Strut” and “Amigas Cheetahs” are two of the best songs from any Disney Channel Original Movie – the vocals and music style are perfect. You’ll still find people who grew up with this film knowing every word.

Aqua (Kiely Wiliams) gets a bit lost in the storyline, but Dorinda’s (Sabrina Bryan) romance with new dance partner Joaquin (Golan Yosef) is endearing.
