Putting a then-modern spin on classic Disney songs, Disneymania 2 is easily a forgettable song with songs even by some of the still-recognizable artists not leaving their mark.

The highlight of the album – and of Disney Channel at the time – is The Lion King’s “Circle of Life” performed by the Disney Channel Circle of Stars, which consisted of stars from That’s So Raven, Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, The Proud Family and Kim Possible. It’s an epic mashup of famous Disney faces and shows off the strong vocals the singers had.

Other than that, Raven-Symoné’s “True to Your Heart” from Mulan is the only other standout. Most of the other performers on the album, like their song renditions, have faded into oblivion and you’ll find much better covers on other Disney related albums.

Final say: No one wished for this. ★★☆☆☆
