Creating one of the most iconic blonde characters in cinema, Legally Blonde puts forth female strength and empowerment while never losing your style and personality.

Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) is heartbroken when her boyfriend Warner Huntington III (Matthew Davis) breaks up with her before going to Harvard because he needs to be with someone “serious.” So, Elle packs up and goes to Harvard to prove she’s serious for Warner.

The beginning of the film has the set-up of a typical romantic comedy that would make you roll your eyes: a girl changes herself to win back the guy. However, Elle realizes her true power and strength and continues changing for herself.

Witherspoon is nothing less than perfect as Elle and brings a fair amount of humor to the role, while also keeping Elle grounded and focused.

Final say: Seriously amazing. ★★★★★
