With a storyline that more than pays homage to the Hitchcock classic Rear Window, The Woman in the Window is thrilling from start to finish.
Anna Fox is a recluse in her New York City home. She’s agoraphobic and physically can’t leave her home. She enjoys spying on her neighbors and soon meets a new family – the Russells. When she sees a murder happen in their apartment, her whole world is shaken and she must prove what happened.
Like The Girl on the Train and The Woman in Cabin 10, this novel follows the plot of an unreliable female narrator who is a bit too alcohol happy. However, the twists in this one are absolutely crazy. Just when you think you’ve figured out what’s going on, author A.J. Finn throws you a new twist.
Final say: Absolutely engrossing. ★★★★☆
