Based on a comic book series of the same name, The Umbrella Academy is a fresh superhero show that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Seven children are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore). With six of them showing superpowers, Hargreeves raises them to fight crime and protect their city. After years apart, the siblings reunite when their father dies and the world is coming to an end.

One of the things that sticks out most about this show is the music editing. The songs chosen for the episodes fit perfectly and keep the pace moving fast.

The cast is incredible and while they all have great moments, none is better than 15-year-old Aidan Gallagher who plays an old man stuck in a young body.

Final say: Exciting and thrilling with a lot of heart. ★★★★☆
