As a companion to the Rocky Horror tribute episode, Glee released an EP of seven great performances.

Kicking off the album, as any version of Rocky Horror does, Naya Rivera takes on “Science Fiction Double Feature” in what is one of her best performances of the show. She makes the song intriguing and sexy, setting up the rest of the show and album with the correct energy.

Guest star John Stamos also gives quite the memorable performance with “Whatever Happened to Saturday Night?” Stamos’ vocals make you fall for him all over again.

The only one that doesn’t make sense is Amber Riley taking on the lead during “Sweet Transvestite.” A woman in the Frank-N-Furter role doesn’t fit and takes away from the song, despite her impressive vocals.

Final say: Great covers of classic songs. ★★★★☆
