The second comes roaring in on the heels of the incredibly successful first season.
A group of high school students, under the direction of Spanish teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison), perform together in a glee club. While they face a lot of pushback from others, including cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), they continue to persevere.
Many new characters are introduced into the second season – including future leads Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) and Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) – and others have their roles from the first season. The cast dynamics grow both the comedy and drama in the show.
As with the first season, important storylines are introduced and handled with care. With sad storylines, like the death of Sue’s sister, there’s also brightness, like the blooming romance between Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine.
Final say: Keep believing on this show. ★★★★☆
