The Barden Bellas are back for their third go-around in this acapella comedy.
Saddened by the state of their current lives, the Barden Bellas decide to get together to sing one more time. With the help of her father, Aubrey (Anna Camp) gets the Bellas on a USO tour, which also serves as a competition to work with DJ Khaled.
Compared to the first two, this film becomes quite action packed due to the reappearance of Fat Amy’s (Rebel Wilson) father (John Lithgow). However, the comedy is still packed in there. Anna Kendrick’s Beca is on top of her game with clever quips and the dynamic between Fat Amy and Emily (Hailee Steinfeld) is equally hilarious.
Final say: This doesn’t have the same feel as the first two, but is still fun nonetheless. ★★★☆☆
