The first season of Scream Queens was genius and I feel that no one gave it the chance it deserved.

At Wallace University, Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) forces sorority Kappa Kappa Tau to accept all pledges in the fall semester, much to President Chanel Oberlin’s (Emma Roberts) dismay. 20 years after a murder, the Red Devil starts killing the sisters.

Ryan Murphy’s show was hilarious and never took itself seriously for a second. People who say they hated it failed to see the humor. It satirized the horror genre and made the smartest characters wonder what was wrong with everyone, much like we do with horror film characters.

And let’s not forget original Scream Queen Curtis commands presence and amazingly reenacts part of her mother Janet Leigh’s famous Psycho shower scene.

Final say: Too good not to watch. ★★★★★
