So, ABC had this singing competition over the summer that put together the next great boy band. With the help of architects Timbaland, Emma Bunton and Nick Carter, we got In Real Life: Chance, Drew, Brady, Sergio and Michael.

While not as high energy as many boy band debuts, “Eyes Closed” does exactly what it sets out to do. It targets the female audience and lets them know that the boys always see the beauty in their girl. It’ll be interesting to see what else they release, but I feel vibes of early One Direction.

One thing they have that One Direction didn’t? Michael raps. While the lyrics for the rap are a bit corny, his skills have the potential to push the band to the next level.

Final say: We’ll be seeing these boys for a while. ★★★☆☆
