Right as the Jonas Brothers were making their Disney Channel debuts in 2006, they released their first studio album It’s About Time. And though listening to it now feels like going into a time machine, it shows the strength the band had from the start.

Though the brothers were young at the time of release with Nick being 13, Joe being 17 and Kevin being 18, Nick and Joe both show outstanding vocals. The songs feel young with many referencing school and crushing on a girl, but that’s exactly what the intended audience was looking for.

“Year 3000” may be a cover song, but it’s the Jonas Brothers that made it famous and you can still feel the excitement of fans screaming the lyrics at concerts today. Meanwhile, “Mandy” is still a banger.
