Despite flaws in the writing, character development and editing, The Sex Lives of College Girls somehow proves to still be one of the best television shows.

Leighton (Reneé Rapp) has decided to come out of the closet. Kimberly (Pauline Chalamet) needs to figure out a way to afford school after her scholarship is revoked. Whitney (Alyah Chanelle Scott) tries to find an interest outside of soccer. And Bela (Amrit Kaur) is heading her own comedy magazine.

Leighton’s storyline is the most fleshed out of the season and Rapp is a joy to watch. All three of the other women have issues in their storylines that are either dropped easily or appear out of the blue. The writers seem to be cramming in storylines that they forget about what’s already being explored.

Final say: It’s a mess, but so is college. ★★★☆☆
