Although it’s a textbook rom-com with few surprises along the way, Ticket to Paradise will have you smiling from start to finish.

Shortly after graduating college, Lily (Kaitlyn Dever) finds love in Bali and decides to marry Gede (Maxime Bouttier). Her long-divorced parents David (George Clooney) and Georgia (Julia Roberts) put aside their differences and make a pact to break up the young couple.

Reuniting the reliably great Clooney and Roberts for their fifth film was a fantastic choice. Their chemistry is undeniable and when they have their fun moments, it’s like a camera isn’t even there. The veteran actors also connect well with future legends Dever and Billie Lourd.

Along with the acting, the cinematography is beautiful, and the script is full of tender moments.
