Though she may have won American Idol 20 years ago, Kelly Clarkson proves she is still at the top of her game on Kellyoke.

What started out as a segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show, “Kellyoke” has become a huge hit with the singer expertly covering artists from Fleetwood Mac to Lady Gaga. On this EP, she takes songs from Roy Orbison/Linda Ronstadt, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Whitney Houston, Shaed and Radiohead and makes them her own.

Her vocals on both Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever” and The Weeknd’s “Call Out My Name” far surpass the originals and all her to show her strength while Orbison and Ronstadt’s “Blue Bayou,” shows beautiful control.

While we yearn for more covers, this is enough to hold us over.

Final say: A reminder of why Clarkson is the American Idol. ★★★★★
