They say all good things must come to an end, and I don’t know if you’d necessarily say 13 Reasons Why is good, but it has finally come to an end.

After the many years of lies and tragedy, Clay (Dylan Minnette) is suffering from mental health issues that makes him see Bryce (Justin Prentice) and Monty (Timothy Granaderos) come to life again. Everyone is getting ready for college, but Principal Bolan (Steven Weber) is taking some interesting measures.

This show has been uneven from the start and though this final season has a couple good episodes – including a heartbreaking, yet stellar finale – there’s too much that feels over the top and unrealistic despite their best efforts.

Miles Heizer and Brandon Flynn, as Alex and Justin respectively, have the best character arcs and development.

Final say: An uneven ending. ★★☆☆☆
