The latest entry in the Spider-Man franchise will not only go down as the best Spider-Man film of all-time, but potentially the best superhero film of all-time.
When Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is outed to the world as Spider-Man, the lives of everyone around him begin to change. He goes to Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to reverse time but when the spell goes wrong, the multi-verse is opened and villains from multiple universes come to fight.
Bringing back the villains from former films was a brilliant idea. Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina somehow all improve on their past performances and help unite the three franchises. But also bringing back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield is an absolute game-changer. Seeing all three Spider-Men from the cinematic world is both exciting and touching to fans.
Final say: Feels like home. ★★★★★
