Grace and Frankie continues with the same tone of love and laughter, but there are moments that make the women – and audience – ask, “what’s next?”

After breaking out of the retirement community, Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) must get their house back and their kids onboard with them living alone together. Grace also goes back to work at Say Grace, which causes tensions with Brianna (June Diane Raphael) and Mallory (Brooklyn Decker).

Both the characters and the actors continue to prove that age is just a number. And while there are things that slow them down, there’s still a lot of life to be had.

Though some storylines seem to be dragging out, the finale ends on an interesting note that will change the future of the show.

Final say: Caught in a slight rut, but still fantastic. ★★★★☆
