Ryan Reynolds may be getting himself typecast as the comedic action hero, but it begs the question: is there any other way we want to see Ryan Reynolds?

Guy (Reynolds) lives a boring and repetitive life as a bank teller in a crime-ridden city. One day, he notices Molotov Girl (Jodie Comer). Soon, Guy finds out he’s a non-player character in a video game that the real Molotov Girl – Millie – is trying to get information from to take down CEO Antwan Hovachelik (Taika Waititi).

Unlike many films that take place in two different worlds, both the human world and the video game world in this film are thrilling with characters you’re rooting for and against. At times, it feels like Ready Player One, but brighter and with more laughs.
