On: CBS All Access

While the main questions brewing throughout the season are “who dies?” and “who kills them?” my question is: why haven’t people talked about this show?

In 1963, Beth Ann (Ginnifer Goodwin) learns that her husband Rob (Sam Jaeger) is having an affair with April (Sadie Calvano). In 1984, Karl (Jack Davenport) is using his wife Simone (Lucy Liu) to hide his homosexuality. And in 2019, Taylor (Kirby Howell-Baptiste) is living in an open marriage with her husband Eli (Reid Scott) and her lover Jade (Alexandra Daddario).

The three time periods are interconnected through the same house they live in, but are so distinct that you’ll never have a hard time following which storyline you’re watching.

While all three main actresses are fantastic, Liu is the funniest in a role that’s Dynasty meets Desperate Housewives.

Final say: Well, they slayed me. ★★★★★
