Another boy band built from a reality TV show, In Real Life could’ve had a solid career and following if their debut album had been more relevant.

With the band members winning Boy Band in August 2017, it took two years for them to release She Do. The album consists of 11 songs, eight of which had been released as singles prior to the album’s arrival. By the time it was released, the music felt old.

However, the songs themselves are great. The band mixes pop, rap and Latin music to create their own sound. Drew Ramos stands out as the strongest vocalist, especially on “Tattoo (How ‘Bout You),” while Conor Smith shows his strength on rap verses that appear on almost every song.

Final say: Had the potential to be so much more. ★★★☆☆
