The second season of the hit Spanish Netflix series Élite is just as scandalous as before and allows for some great character development.
After the death of Marina (season one’s Maria Pedraza), Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) is set on finding the true murderer and setting his brother Nano (Jaime Lorente) free. Everyone is a suspect with Samuel goes missing.
Forbidden love is the theme and almost every character has their moment for a shady romance. It’s intriguing with several love triangles forming, but you’ll be hurt as some strong couples hit bumps in the road.
Like the first season, there are tons of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge. And in the end, you may just find mean girl Lucrecia (Danna Paola) is the one you’re cheering for most.
Final say: A strong and exciting second season. ★★★★★
