The power of friendship is tested as four college friends reunite for a crazy weekend in the over-the-top hilarious comedy Girls Trip.

Ryan Pierce (Regina Hall) has been named the keynote speaker at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. After five years apart, she reunites the “Flossy Posse,” which includes gossip journalist Sasha (Queen Latifah), nurse Lisa (Jada Pinkett Smith) and the outgoing Dina (Tiffany Haddish) for a girls weekend.

The film puts tension on the four women after they’ve gone through a lot of tough life moments together. It shows the importance of friendship and how friends can become a second family who will stick with you through thick and thin.

All four leads were perfectly cast, but Haddish is the breakout star whose hilarity will bring tears to your eyes.
