A follow-up to their hit A Very Potter Musical, Team StarKid at the University of Michigan creates an original sequel combining elements of several Harry Potter books.

Following the death of Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy (Tyler Brunsman) devises a plot to go back in time and kill Harry Potter (Darren Criss) during his first year at Hogwarts.

The students working on the show have to be commended for their efforts. Running over three and a half hours, this is a big production. Like the original, the sets and costumes are kept simple, but the lack of extravagance doesn’t matter.

With a hilarious book, the show will continually have you cracking up. Lauren Lopez’s Draco Malfoy is a scene-stealer and she plays him with such sincerity, you feel for him.

Final say: Just as incredible as the first. ★★★★★
