While this movie receives a lot of flack as one of the worst sequels ever, Grease 2 is an incredibly fun movie that would be regarded higher if it were a standalone.

When good boy-exchange student Michael Carrington (Maxwell Caulfield) begins at Rydell High, he immediately falls for Pink Lady Stephanie Zinone (Michelle Pfeiffer). Knowing that he can’t win her affections, he becomes a mysterious biker. But Stephanie falling for this unknown man will ruin her status.

Although the music is not at the same level as its predecessor, there are some gems among them. “Score Tonight” gives us the best bowling scene ever in a movie, while “Reproduction” is educational while full of teenage hormones.

The best thing about this film is that it introduced us to the talent of Michelle Pfeiffer. She is so cool as Stephanie that her movie star status was cemented early on.

Final say: A bad sequel, but a good movie. ★★★☆☆
