Time is a gift – and most can only experience it once. But this film begs the question: What if every moment in life came with a second chance?
Once he turns 21, Tim Lake (Domhnall Gleeson) is told by his father James (Bill Nighy) that the men in the family can time travel. There are a few stipulations, but they can redo days of their life. As Tim falls in love with Mary (Rachel McAdams) and runs into family issues, he uses his ability to make things right.
Unlike other time travel movies, this doesn’t focus so much on the dangers of time travel, but rather shows how great your life could be when you choose to live it without fear.
Gleeson and McAdams have undeniable chemistry and will constantly keep you laughing and crying.
Final say: Perfectly lovable. ★★★★★
