Just over 11 years after the conclusion of its original run, Will & Grace returns to television better than ever.
In the first episode, the events of the finale were erased, and the show moves forward in current times. Karen (Megan Mullally) is a big Trump supporter, while Will (Eric McCormack), Grace (Debra Messing) and Jack (Sean Hayes) figure out how to live in this era.
With the characters aging alongside the actors, their comedy is golden. They acknowledge their age and how life is changing around them. Two of the best storylines are when Will dates a younger man (Ben Platt) and has to explain the gay struggle, and when Grace acknowledges the death of her mother, originally played by the late Debbie Reynolds.
Final say: Why did this ever go off the air? ★★★★★
