One of the most exciting films of my childhood, Night at the Museum brings history to life with lots of added comedy.

When Larry (Ben Stiller) takes the night-shift security guard position at New York’s American Museum of Natural History, he is astounded to find the exhibits come to life at night. With the help of coworker Rebecca (Carla Gugino), he learns all he can to work with the history.

This movie is a joy from start to finish. Stiller is arguably at his best in the lead role holding his own as he spars with comedy greats like Robin Williams and Dick Van Dyke. All of the actors who play the exhibits are so into their roles that you believe they truly are those people.

Final say: A museum you’ll want to be locked in overnight. ★★★★★
