While it seems you can’t escape cop shows on TV, you won’t want to miss this comedy that takes the action and adds in laughter.

When a new captain (Andre Braugher) comes to Brooklyn’s 99th precinct, goofy Detective Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) realizes he’ll have to change his ways.

The ensemble cast of this show is incredible. The actors are incredibly diverse as are their characters, and everyone is accepted for who they are without dramatic reveals. While Samberg’s Jake is the lead, everyone gets ample screentime.

The comedy is spot on as well. There are incredible one-liners, which will make you howl with laughter, and the best part is that none of the jokes are derogatory. The comedy here is how all comedy should be.
