With the success of her first album, Yours Truly, former Nickelodeon actress Ariana Grande was able to come into her own on this follow-up.

While the first album dove into jazzy throwback feels on some songs, this album is pure pop. The lead single, “Problem,” finds Grande alongside rapper Iggy Azalea on a track that will have you dancing while trying to reach the heights Grande’s voice does.

She benefits from featured artists on the majority of her songs, including Zedd on “Break Free,” The Weeknd on “Love Me Harder” and Jessie J and Nicki Minaj on “Bang Bang.”

Though the most underrated songs are the ballads “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart” and “My Everything” where Grande proves that her voice is just as sweet as it is sassy.

Final say: Grande takes her spot as the Princess of Pop. ★★★★☆
