Music: Title

Released: January 9, 2015

By: Meghan Trainor

On her debut album, Meghan Trainor brings pop music infused with a ‘50s vibe and modern lyrics.

The year after she wrote hits for Rascal Flatts and Fifth Harmony, Trainor brought her own style to center stage with Title. On her album, she helped co-write every song and you’re able to hear her passion in each cut.

Lead single, “All About That Bass,” became a number one hit and was heard everywhere. She was praised for the song about body positivity for larger sizes, which was upbeat and had a catchy chorus.

Other highlighted tracks on the album include “Dear Future Husband” – about a woman who knows just what she’s looking for in a man – and the John Legend duet, “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.”

Final say: Trainor has fun standing up for her beliefs. ★★★★☆
