Elle Woods was one of the best characters of the early 2000s thanks to Reese Witherspoon’s performance and now she shines on the Broadway stage.

After being dumped by her boyfriend Warren (Richard H. Blake) for not being serious enough, Elle (Laura Bell Bundy) decides to prove her worth by getting into Harvard and winning him back.

Like the movie, this story that starts as a girl doing something for a man becomes a strong story of female empowerment. Bundy plays Elle perfectly with a spirit and energy that cannot be denied. She demands attention on the stage and accesses her emotions beautifully.

The music is incredibly catchy and makes favorite parts of the movie into new Broadway jams – I dare you not to get down to “Bend and Snap.”

Final say: Omigod you guys, this is so amazing! ★★★★★
