They call it The Play That Goes Wrong because literally everything that could go wrong does go wrong. And with it, hilarity ensues.
A fictional playhouse company puts on a performance of The Murder at Haversham Manor. Nothing goes right with set pieces falling, actors getting knocked out and crew missing cues. However, as with all theater, the show must go on.
What I loved so much about this show was the breaking of the fourth wall. The crew was onstage and in the audience before the show trying to make sure everything was right and the actors directly referred to the audience.
The cast made me cry and howl with laughter, but it was Alex Mandell who stole the show for me with his uproarious stage presence.
Final say: Funniest show I have ever seen on stage. ★★★★★
