If only we saw more kindness in the world like this everyday….

Auggie Pullman was born with a case of mandibulofacial dysostosis and has had many facial surgeries to try and fix it, leaving him deformed. For the first time, Auggie is entering public school and must face the constant stares and rudeness of people not used to him. Luckily, some shining stars show up along the way.

While there are parts of this book that filled me with such disgust about how mean people can be to others, there was an incredible amount of beauty in the warm hearts of others in Auggie’s life.

It’s an easy read and jumps points of view throughout, which will make you not want to put it down. The view always changes just when you want it to.

Final say: Choose kind.★★★★★
