Theater: Oh, Hello

Opened: September 26, 2016

Book by: Nick Kroll & John Mulaney

Broadway Cast: Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Steve Martin & Matthew Broderick

Watch on: Netflix

Arguably two of the comedic greats of our generation, Nick Kroll and John Mulaney bring their geriatric alter egos Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland to Broadway.

Gil and George, like all the best old people in entertainment, have crazy beliefs, wear strange clothes and say things that would be better left unsaid. And in this hilarity, they present their next great play within the play you’re watching.

There are parts of this show that make absolutely no sense and you’ll find yourself asking, why am I even watching this? But, it’s also so incredibly funny that you won’t care. Kroll and Mulaney are brilliantly funny and take advantage of the fact that they know they’re onstage. The constant breaking of the fourth wall is great for any theater or comedy lover.

Final say: What better way to waste time? ★★★★☆
