In its final season, Love, Victor is desperately trying to emulate its predecessor Love, Simon – especially in the final episode – but the tone of the show never lets it rise to that point.

Victor’s (Michael Cimino) choice between Benji (George Sear) or Rahim (Anthony Keyvan) has repercussions that he’s not ready to face. Felix (Anthony Turpel) begins dating Pilar (Isabella Ferriera), but she wants to keep it a secret.

Throughout the entire season, Victor shows how he chooses to put himself in toxic situations. It’s telling young viewers that what you think is love will triumph over any negativity you feel in a relationship, which isn’t healthy.

While there were high hopes for this show, it comes crashing down and the ending is unsatisfying while trying to look beautiful.

Final say: Not the sign off that’s needed. ★★☆☆☆
