With new alters coming into play, the Gregson family is under a lot of stress in their home outside of their already crazy lives.
Though Tara (Toni Collette) thinks her alters have subsided, Buck comes out and sleeps with a woman named Pammy (Joey Lauren Adams). Tara and Charmaine (Rosemarie Dewitt) discover troubling secrets of their past, while Marshall (Keir Gilchrist) figures out his sexuality and Kate (Brie Larson) begins modeling.
All the previous alters return this season with two new ones emerging, so Collette is continuing to prove she’s the hardest working and most dynamic performer in Hollywood. She’s completely believable in every role.
The drama that ensues with Kate and Charmaine’s family as well as Marshall coming to terms with his sexuality help deepen the level of already well-established characters.
Final say: So many states, so little time. ★★★★☆
