Just weeks before Jesy Nelson’s emotional exit, the British girl group sensation Little Mix was back emotionally mature and having a blast on Confetti.

Over the years the group has been together, fans have been able to watch their growth into strong, independent women. Even though many of these songs don’t have the girl power behind it that their previous two albums have shown, this focuses on understanding yourself as a person and building core strength.

“Sweet Melody” and “A Mess (Happy 4 U)” are both great examples of this. The former shows their decision to get out of a bad relationship when they realize they’re not being treated correctly, while the latter shows how they can be supportive of ex-lovers even while still heartbroken. Both are great for their younger fans to understand self-worth.
