With over the top characters and humors, Schitt’s Creek manages to move past what could’ve been annoying and straight into comedic gold.
After losing their fortune, the Rose family – Johnny (Eugene Levy), Moira (Catherine O’Hara), David (Dan Levy) and Alexis (Annie Murphy) – are forced to move into a small motel in the town Johnny once bought as a joke.
The show is perfectly casted with the main four leads all fully embodying the unique spirits of their characters with the surrounding townsfolk being just as quirky. From the first moments, they’ll have you in tears laughing.
Created by the Levys, this show is a family affair and highlights how differences can bring others together. The first season notates David’s sexuality and gives a voice to the pansexual community.
Final say: You’ll be screaming for more. ★★★★★
