After an amazing twist ended the first season of The Good Place, they came back with an equally brilliant second season.

Michael (Ted Danson) resets the Bad Place to test his experiment on Eleanor (Kristen Bell), Chidi (William Jackson Harper), Tahani (Jameela Jamil) and Jason (Manny Jacinto) again. After multiple failures, Michael teams up with the other four to get them to the real Good Place.

The cast is just as good this time around with D’Arcy Carden continuing to be the breakout star of the show as Janet. Comedy queen Maya Rudolph as Gen, a judge who can help the crew get to the Good Place, also treats us to a wonderful guest arc.

The subjects of mortality and the afterlife are touched on more this season, but it never takes a dark turn
