Jennifer Nettles has an incredible voice and brings her Country twang to Christmas favorites, but the album itself has some ups and downs.

Near the top of the album, Nettles is assisted with two incredible duets. The first is a jazz rendition of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” with Andra Day that will make you sway. The second is “Little Drummer Boy” with Idina Menzel. Their voices match together perfectly and the strength of them makes the song soar to new heights – in my opinion, the best version of the song.

After that, the rest of the album wavers. Nettles tends to do better with more familiar songs, but in songs like “Celebrate Me Home” and “Merry Christmas with Love,” you may find yourself wishing to get back to more familiar ground.
