Pink is finally back with her first studio album since 2012 and, boy, I didn’t realize how much I missed her until she reappeared.

Her first single from the album, “What About Us,” hasn’t quite hit the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, but really should have by now. The emotional club ballad features her strong, yet beautifully strained vocals while being dance ready.

Some of the songs on the album are slower and have more of a ballad feel than her previous albums, but the lyrics are hard hitting. “But We Lost It” is about a lover now feeling like a stranger and is true to the album title.

Perhaps the best of the upbeat is “Revenge,” in which she raps the verses and shares the mic with Eminem.

Final say: Beautiful, traumatic and so worth it. ★★★★☆
