I just want to start off by saying that while there are several deaths throughout; I thought a massacre would be on a much higher level.

Five friends travel through Texas to see the grave of Sally (Marilyn Burns) and Franklin’s (Paul A. Partian) grandfather. While on their trip, they are attacked and terrorized by a family of cannibalists.

While the family is full of psychopaths, Leatherface (Gunnar Hansen) killed the first three teens because they broke into his house and started snooping around. And while they may not have deserved death, they weren’t smart and, really, it’s survival of the fittest.
During the finale, all you’re going to hear is Sally screaming. Of course she is entitled to this, but at the same time, it becomes very annoying.

Final say: Very disturbing, but not quite scary. ★★☆☆☆
