Reaching the point of graduation for many of its main characters, Glee has some wild storylines in its third season but handles the emotions well.

With many characters in their senior year, they’re learning to say goodbye. Will (Matthew Morrison) finally proposes to Emma (Jayma Mays) while Finn (Cory Monteith) proposes to Rachel (Lea Michele). Rachel and Kurt (Chris Colfer) both vie to get into New York Academy for the Dramatic Arts.

The best storylines of the season go to Sue (Jane Lynch) and Coach Beiste (the perfect Dot-Marie Jones), who originally go for the same man. Some of Glee’s best covers – including “Smooth Criminal” and “Rumour Has It/Someone Like You” – also appear.

However, there’s outrageous storylines from a teen wedding to everything going on with Quinn (Dianna Agron) that’ll have you questioning the writing.

Final say: A solid send-off. ★★★★☆
